Frances Pate Snavely, CPA

Frances has been with the firm of  Bible Harris Smith, P.C. since 1976, when she joined the firm as its receptionist.  In 1979, she returned to the University of Tennessee and earned a Bachelor's degree in accounting with high honors in 1985.

As a manager with the firm, Frances is responsible for a varied group of clients, coordinating and overseeing all projects relating to them.  She has developed a level of proficiency in all areas of service Bible Harris Smith, P.C. provides.

Frances is the firm's Computer Network Administrator.  She is responsible for assessing the computer and software needs of the firm and making recommendations to the partners.  She is responsible for maintenance of the current system and staff training.  She provides similar assistance to clients, particularly in the area of computerized accounting systems.

Other areas of specialization include Not-for-Profit and HUD auditing and Employee Benefits, wherein she oversees tax and audit functions as well as management consulting services.  In addition, Frances supervises all tax work for the firm's Estate and Trust clients.

Frances is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
